I am an Accredited Integrative Counsellor and Supervisor with experience in a variety of counselling roles.
In my counselling practice, I work with adults and young people both online and in person. My work has a particular focus on anxiety, processing past experiences, developing sense of self, working through relational challenges and building self esteem. I work with a trauma-informed approach.
In both counselling and supervision I work relationally, meaning that as well as exploring the content of the sessions, I also explore what might be happening 'in the room' and collaborate with you to consider how these dynamics could inform the work.
I also offer a neurodiversity-affirming space, informed by training, years of experience of working with neurodivergent people and lived experience so whether you are neurodivergent or you're working with neurodivergent clients; diagnosed, self identifying or exploring the possibility, you're very welcome to get in touch and know that you'll be supported here.
I use the Seven Eyed Model to inform my supervision practice which provides a holistic and systemic approach to understanding and supporting your practice.
In supervision, I combine my clinical experience and relational approach to support you in your therapeutic work and navigate any challenges you are experiencing. I aim to empower you to collaborate in finding a way forward.
I also believe that supervision can be a space to celebrate the brilliant work you are doing! While it’s important to use supervision as a tool for continuing to develop your practice, my hope is to also celebrate and encourage you in this work.
My experience of working therapeutically with young people means I have an extensive ‘toolbox’ of creative approaches that can aid in exploring and understand your practice. They could also be useful for you to integrate back into your counselling work.
I have a particular interest and experience in supporting counsellors to develop a private practice and/or navigate employed counselling roles in way that enables you to build a life that you enjoy and a work that feels sustainable.
Supervision is provided online and can be booked in 1hr or 1.5hr slots.
We can agree a recurring session time that works for us both or we can book as you go. I aim to book your sessions two months in advance, to ensure that we can plan ahead and you can meet your required hours.
Session Fees:
£60 per hour or £90 per 1.5hrs.
Supervision is a professional relationship designed to support you in your practice and the welfare of your clients. I understand the importance of choosing a supervisor that feels like the right fit for you and your practice. I offer a free 30 minute video call where we can meet and discuss the possibility of working together. This is a no obligation call and I recommend that you meet with a few supervisors to help you to feel confident in your decision.
